The employee will work under general direction applying skills and expertise to generate solutions that require development or supply of new or improved techniques or processes. Responsibilities include assisting with planning, conducting, documenting and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in timely, cost-effective way.
The employee will design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods. The employee will work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The employee will work in a team environment with chemists/electrochemists, material scientists and mechanical engineers. The employee will identify and develop good working relationships with equipment suppliers, toll manufactures, consultants and mechanical centers.
Successful Mechanical Engineers are self-motivated and work effectively in team or individual situations. They have excellent communication skills and can handle multiple assignments and activities simultaneously. A Master degree in mechanical, aerospace or automotive engineering or similar discipline is required, with 2 -3 years practical experience. Exceptional Bachelor degree candidates with a minimum of five years relevant work experience will also be considered.
The employee will analyze, develop and maintain products, assist in commercialization. The employee will assist in identifying and organizing requirements, in applying usability procedures and principles at project or product-line level.
The employee will build prototypes, products, and systems for testing and validating choices. The employee will set-up and run laboratory simulations and computer modeling.
The employee will evaluate engineering approaches and risks to produce and iterate development plans. Evaluations will be executed by applying principles of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, hydraulics and materials.
The employee will assure systems and products quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly and installation processes.
The employee will keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
The employee will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal network and participating in professional societies.

Required Skills and Experience
- A Master degree in mechanical, aerospace or automotive engineering or similar discipline is required, with 2 -3 years of practical experience. Exceptional Bachelor degree candidates with a minimum of five years relevant work experience will also be considered.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc…
- Experience with 2D and 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (AutoCAD, Solid Works, CREO or other)
- Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar)
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamic (CFD)
- Familiarity with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer–aided manufacturing (CAE)
- Creativity and analytical skills
